Outline of Annual Research Achievements

最終年度は磁場印可システムを開発し,スペクトロスコピックコヒーレントX線回折イメージング(CXDI:Coherent X-ray Diffractive Imaging)をその場磁気ナノイメージングへ展開することを計画していたが,このためにはCXDIの測定スループットを向上することが必要不可欠であることが判明した.そこで本年度は部分コヒーレント光源である放射光の利用効率を高めるため,入射X線を空間的に多重化し,測定試料上の異なる領域を同時に照明するマルチビームCXDIを実現することを研究目的とした.マルチビームCXDIは前例のない手法であり,測定光学系の構想・開発に加えて位相回復法も考案する必要があった.
マルチビームX線を生成するため,多重スリットと全反射ミラーを用いた照明光学系を開発した.多重スリットのスリット幅を空間コヒーレンス長以下とし,スリット間隔を空間コヒーレンス以上に設定することにより,互いに干渉しない複数のコヒーレントX線を生成でき,放射光源の利用効率を高められる.そして多重スリット下流に全反射ミラーを配置し,焦点面に複数の集光X線を供給する光学系を構築した.位相回復では複数の波動場複素振幅と試料複素透過関数を再生できるアルゴリズムを考案した.さらに計算精度の向上を図るため,試料構造の平滑性を先験情報に使う全変動正則化を取り入れた.
実証実験はSPring-8 BL29XULにおいて行った.本光学系を導入して3つの集光X線を試料面に供給し,入射強度が従来光学系と比較して約3倍に増加されていることを確認した.試料からの回折強度パターンを計測し,開発した全変動正則化位相回復アルゴリズムを適用することにより,試料像と入射波動場を同時に再構成した.再構成された試料像の測定視野は約2倍に拡大されており,マルチビームCXDIによる高測定スループット化に成功した.
