Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は、力調節機能に関係する中枢神経回路の変調を特定し、その課題依存性を明らかにすることであった。本年度においては、昨年度に実施した随意収縮中における中枢神経回路興奮性の変調に関する研究データの解析を行った。下肢筋群の中枢神経回路および脊髄反射回路の興奮性は、随意収縮レベルが増加するにつれて高くなり、それらの中枢神経回路の変調には筋間差が観察された。さらに、下肢筋群の各筋における筋活動レベルと中枢神経回路および脊髄反射回路興奮性の変調との関係性について検討したところ、中枢神経回路興奮性の変調は、それぞれの筋活動レベルの増加と強い関係があることが明らかになった。また、随意収縮中の主働筋の研究データに加えて、拮抗筋における中枢神経回路および脊髄反射回路の興奮性の変調に関する研究データの解析も行った。拮抗筋活動中における下肢筋群の中枢神経回路の興奮性は高くなったが、大腿直筋の興奮性は低くなることが観察された。これは、筋固有の中枢神経回路の変調である可能性が考えられた。そして、拮抗筋活動中における下腿三頭筋およびハムストリングス筋群の脊髄反射回路興奮性は低くなったが、大腿四頭筋の脊髄反射回路興奮性は高くなった。これらは、拮抗筋における相反抑制が下肢筋群間で差があることを示唆する結果である。
研究成果は、国内学会でポスター発表、国際学会で口頭発表を行った。さらに、国際学術雑誌への論文投稿まで完了している。
