Outline of Annual Research Achievements

反強磁性物質群におけるスピントロニクス現象の理論研究を行った。特に、スピントロニクス分野において新規な磁気構造であるnoncollinear反強磁性構造を対象とし、そこでのスピン流と磁気ダイナミクスの関係改名を目指した理論的・数値的な解析を行った。
反強磁性体を扱う上での大きな困難の一つは、マクロな磁気モーメントを持たないため、従来の磁場を用いた磁気的な手法を用いた磁気構造の制御が難しいという点にある。そのため現在、反強磁性スピントロニクスにおける大きな課題は、反強磁性構造を有効に制御する方法の確立である。本研究では、スピン流を利用した電気的な反強磁性構造の制御を目指し、その基礎となる理論研究を行ってきた。中でも、磁性体に最も基本的な磁気構造の一つである磁壁に着目し、異なる反強磁性秩序におけるスピン流誘起磁壁ダイナミクスを調べた。特に、noncollinear反強磁性磁壁に対してスピン流や電流が及ぼす影響は、これまでほとんど調べられてこなかった。本研究では、スピン流注入のもとでのnoncollinear反強磁性磁気構造に対する有効運動方程式を導くことに成功した。そしてこれを用いて、noncollinear反強磁性磁壁のダイナミクスを解析的・数値的に明らかにしている。本研究により、スピン流を用いてnoncollinear反強磁性磁壁の並進運動を誘起できることが、世界に先駆けて初めて示された。
