Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本課題では,血球破壊と血液凝固を自己認識・回避するインテリジェント人工心臓の開発を行っている.令和1年度は,インペラ強制加振による血栓検知の大型動物実験およびインペラ強制加振による血栓予防の評価実験を行った.
1. インペラ強制加振による血栓検知: 前年度までに磁気軸受によってインペラに強制加振を加えた際の入力電流とインペラ変位の位相差の変化から,ポンプ内血栓を検知できることを確認した.本年度は,インペラ強制加振による血栓検知に関してブタを用いた急性動物実験を行った.血液ポンプをブタの心尖部脱血・頸動脈送血で接続し,生体の正常時に近い血液凝固能の状態で位相差が変化するまで血液を循環させた.その結果,動物実験においても位相差が約1度変化した際にin vitro実験と同様に微小血栓を検知できることを確認した.
2. インペラ強制加振による血栓抑制: 前年度までにインペラを高周波で強制加振させることで,加振が無い場合と比較して優位に血栓形成時間が延長することを基礎実験および模擬回路実験において確認した.本年度は,回路実験後に回路内血液をろ過して回路内血栓の有無を確認した.さらに,実験後にポンプ内に形成した血栓量を定量評価した.インペラ強制加振がある場合とない場合を比較した結果,加振がある場合はない場合よりも血栓形成時間が延長し,形成した血栓量も少ないことを確認した.また,回路内血栓に関しては両者に大きな差は見られなかった.
