Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度では、前年度に上手く推定することができなかった酸素供給量について、近赤外分光装置の指標と大腿部の血流、および血液ガス指標との関係性を検討することを目的として、スペインのUniversity of Las Palmas de Gran Canariaを訪ね、3ヶ月の間、共同研究に参加した。この共同研究では、対象者32名に対して漸増負荷運動を行い、外側広筋の酸素化・脱酸素化ヘモグロビン濃度、大腿静脈血流量、および、大腿静脈と動脈血の血液ガス指標を測定し、その関連性について検討した。先方の部局マニュアルに基づいて、測定データは先方で現在解析中である。
また、本年度では、運動中の身体内血液分布と酸素動態の関係性に関する基礎的な資料を得ることを目的として、運動中の血流調節の競合が起こる可能性が指摘されている呼吸に関わる筋と活動筋の酸素動態の関連性について検討した。成人男性10名を対象に、漸増負荷自転車運動を疲労困憊に至るまで実施し、近赤外時間分解分光装置を用いて、活動筋（外側広筋）、および呼吸に関わる筋（右第9肋間の中腋下線上の肋間筋および横隔膜）の酸素化・脱酸素化応答を測定した。結果、呼吸に関わる筋の賦活にともなう血液量変化と外側広筋の血液量変化との関連性は認められなかった。これは先行研究とは全く異なる結果であり、本研究の結果は、血流の競合が一般的な運動条件の下では生じていない可能性を示唆する。一方、暑熱環境下での皮膚血流増加のような代謝以外の血流分配を必要とする環境では、活動筋における代謝に必要な血流とそれ以外の血流の競合が起こる可能性が指摘されているため、外的環境の変化による運動環境の変化は、酸素動態を決定する前提となる血流分配の機序、あるいは制御の順序が異なっている可能性がある。この点を明らかにするためにも、今後は異なる環境を用いた検討を進める必要があると考えられる。
