Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では,データの発生源に存在するIoTデバイス群の計算資源を有効活用することによって,クラウドレスかつ実時間で多種多様なIoTデータ流を価値化する分散処理基盤の実現を目指している.
令和元年度は,前年度に開発を進めた余剰IoTデバイスのリソース確保やデータ処理タスクの割り当てのメカニズムを元に,地域に存在するIoTデバイス群をセンサデータプロバイダ,計算資源プロバイダ,サービスコンシューマとして抽象化し,それらのリソースをセンサデータ処理サービスの需要に応じて調整・分配しながら,一つのサービス系として弾力性のあるデータ処理を実現するIFoTプラットフォームを設計し,実機で動作するプロトタイプを開発した.また,実世界に存在するウェアラブルセンサや環境センサを活用したコンテキスト認識を題材として,IFoTプラットフォーム上で動作する多様なIoT応用アプリケーションの設計・開発を進めた.具体的には,ベルト型IoTデバイスを用いた日常行動認識や,スマートウォッチを用いた剣道の打突認識,エナジーハーベストなIoTネームプレートを用いた屋内位置認識,環境設置型IoTセンサを用いた屋内コンテキスト認識を行うIoTアプリケーションを構築した.実機デバイスを用いた評価実験では,各アプリケーションに関して,80~90%という高い認識精度を達成するとともに,Raspberry Piをはじめとした複数のIoTデバイス群を活用することで250ms程度のリアルタイムな遅延要求を満たす可能であることを確認した.
