Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Elastin has crosslinking structure with desmosines. The first total synthesis of desmosines have been achieved in our group using cross-coupling reactions as well as Chichibabin pyridinium synthesis. In this study, based on the established synthetic strategy, cyclic peptides with desmosine have been accomplished. In addition, preparation of antigen of isodesmosine was carried out.
