Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The Arab Gulf states have developed into consumer-based societies based on the wealth extracted through natural resources. Women in the region have long been considered to play their roles in consumption rather than production. However, with the socioeconomic transformation, women can no longer enjoy consumption only, and they start to engage in businesses catering to female consumers. This study explored the relationship among educational levels achieved by women, women's influence on household, as well as their gendered relationship within the family based on primary and secondary data.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
