The aim of this research project is to analize how ethnic arts which is sold in ethnic tourism by conducting ethnographical field work in Malaysia. Previous studies of ethnic arts in tourism tend to regard these ethnic arts, or ethnic souvenirs are influenced by institutional host-guest relations. However these studies did not research enough diversities among local communities as host and socio-cultural diversities of guest. Therefore I had conducted ethnographical researchs in multi-ethnic societies in Malaysia and how the ethnic arts, or ethnic souvenirs are created in plural communities.
