| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study examined transformation of the diversity through art and ritual. The appreciation of the works as fiction does not makes our reality into a fiction, but it diversify the way of our experiences of reality adversely.Such a "diversity activating action" did not come out of "action of teaching and civilizing it" and "emotional empathetic action", bit it became clear to be born by reduced "non-understanding" and "unpleasantness" slowly. In other words, the communicable talks after performances are indispensable so that it plays a role as the diversity activation.At first works are difficult and highly abstract or symbolic, then it is important being prepared a route to access the understanding.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
現代社会は、グローバル化を通じてさまざまな価値観やさまざまな生活習慣が交流する時代を迎えている。本研究を通じて、この時代の多様性を受容し、私たち一人一人が心のダイバーシティを豊かに活性化させていくためには、教育的なプロセスや情動的な共感のプロセスよりも、理解困難さに出会い、その理解困難さからゆっくりと理解に向かう筋道が見てくることが重要であることが明かになった。すなわち、社会においてダイバーシティが活性化し、社会そのものが多様で豊かなものとなるには、まずは不理解を認め、そこから理解へのプロセスが開かれ、時間をかけて未知のものと共にあることが必要であると提言することができる。
