I examined and analyzed the waka poems of classical tales in Heian and Kamakura eras, particularly waka poems of Genji-monogatari from a new viewpoint. I have confirmed that waka poems of classical tales were the social education texts and waka texts, for noble women and ladies-in-waiting in the court.
