Outline of Final Research Achievements

To develop knowledge, skills, and psychological aspects of English interviewing, we developed a training program that incorporates individual video-based practice and video-call-based training. We confirmed through experiments that video-based practice could improve learners' speaking skills, and video-call-based training enhanced writing skills. We also showed that the whole training process improved participants' intrinsic motivation for speaking practice.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

社会的意義:本研究で開発した英語面接訓練プログラムは、英語学習者の面接・言語・心理面における改善の効果が確認された。よって、海外留学や進出を目指す生の支援に活用できる。
学術的意義:英語面接に特化したブレンド型訓練法として、動画ベース個別学習とビデオ通話ベースの面接演習を組み合わせたものは過去に報告されていない。本研究では訓練法の詳細とその効果を具体的に英語論文で報告した。
