This study conducts the historical examination of the process by which the legal regulations on labor supply contracts have developed in modern Japan using "the three stages model of the legal legulations on labor supply contracts".
As a result, regarding the first stage (19th century), this study conducted the examination of the historical development of legal regulations on labor supply contracts from the late Meiji era to the early Taisho era through the analysis of Mining Acts and Factory Acts and completed the preparations for the analysis of the judgements to the labor disputes in the early Meiji era. In addition, regarding the third stage (21st century), this study analysed the historical position of labor supply contracts concernig the platform work.
