| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aims to develop a child maltreatment prevention model for school-aged children. After conducting a questionnaire survey, which clarifying that most municipalities develop drop-in centers(Ibasho) for children to each school district, the researcher interviewed with some after-school program providers on how they support children at risk involving school staff. In conclusion, they stand for protecting children's rights by working as a cushion in the school-family relationship, building up trustful relationship with school staff as well as children and their parents.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
放課後児童クラブ等の地域内の子どもの居場所が、家庭や学校とは異なる生活の場として、いっそうの注目を集めるようになっている。子どもの居場所が＜家庭―学校＞間でどのような役割を果たしているのかが明らかにしたことは、居場所の担い手が効果的に実践を展開するためのガイドライン作成の基礎資料として有用である。今後さらに地域内の子どもの居場所における人材確保・養成についての知見を積み重ねていくことができれば、学齢期児童を対象とした地域包括支援の推進を図ることになり、その中で効果的な児童虐待予防が実現していくことが期待される。
