Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We conducted interview research on graduates of Miyagi-gakuin Women University and contents analysis of alumnae bulletin. As a result, we found that they have social ethic of connected self rather than separated self that had promoted Japanese modernization. And also we found there are three cohorts in graduates and they had separate life ethics.

ミッション女子教育が、男子教育とは異なる形で日本の近代化に貢献してきたことが明らかになった。またそれは、男性の場合とは異なり、地域社会への参画を通じてなされてきたことが示された。
