Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Purpose of this study is to pursue teaching for understanding and applying the ratio at secondary school level and to get suggestions about development of ratio's curriculum. We clarified as follows. (1) "P/P type" and "%-point" are taught in Finland at secondary school, but there are not taught in Japan, (2) Japanese secondary school students don't acquire application competency of ratio, (3) university students who will be primary school teacher in the future acquire application competency of ratio compared to secondary school students, but some parts are not well understood, (4) we practiced some lessons for acquiring application competency of ratio at secondary school and got suggestions about development of ratio's curriculum.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究成果の学術的・社会的意義は,次の2点にある。 ①小学校算数科で学んでいる「割合」の理解や活用力に関して,中学生・高校生・大学生(小学校教員を目指す)を対象にそれぞれ1000人を超える調査を実施し,割合の理解や活用力が必ずしも十分でない実態を,データをもとに明らかにしたこと。 ②中学校・高等学校数学科において,割合に関わる実験授業を複数回行い,それぞれの授業を通して,割合の理解を深め活用力を高める指導の在り方について,有益な示唆を得ることができたこと。
