今回の研究については、特に今後日本国内で増加することが予測される国際バカロレア(IB)の教育課程を導入する際に課題となる、学習指導要領と国際バカロレア機構が示す教育課程との整合性について参考となる考え方と実例を、芸術科(音楽)において示すことができたと考える。また、今回は中等教育課程(MYP)を中心に研究を行ったが、初等教育課程(PYP)との接続や、大学受験資格課程(DP)への接続に関しても、一貫性を持った教育課程の開発に資することのできる考え方を示すことができたと考える。
