Outline of Annual Research Achievements

可算群の標準確率空間への保測作用に対し、それからできる軌道同値関係の研究を行った。とりわけ、近年の研究では、軌道同値関係の性質を反映する、充足群とよばれる群の中心列の存在・非存在に関する研究を行っている。中心列の概念は、古くはMurray-von Neumannによるフォンノイマン環の研究に端を発し、初期のフォンノイマン環の理論において基本的な役割を果たした。
一方で、保測同値関係に対する中心列の研究は、フォンノイマン環に対するそれと比べ数が少なく、基本的な問題「すべての内部従順群はシュミット性をもつか？」が未解決である。ここで、可算群Gがシュミット性をもつとは、Gの標準確率空間への自由保測作用が存在して、その軌道同値関係の充足群が非自明な中心列をもつときをいう。群の内部従順性は、群の元の列で中心的なものの存在を要求する。シュミット性からそのような列の存在は容易に従うものの、逆の構成については（具体例でさえ）限られたものしか知られておらず、この研究では手始めに、比較的具体的な状況下で充足群の中心列の構成を確立させたいと考えている。内部従順性とシュミット性については並行した問題設定が可能であり、内部従順性について成り立つことをシュミット性について考察することが有効であると考えられる。今年度は「内部従順性をもつ群の中心拡大が内部従順性をもつ」ことから「シュミット性をもつ群の中心拡大はシュミット性をもつか?」という問題に取り組んだ。

同値関係を商とする亜群の中心拡大において、同値関係の中心列を中心拡大の中心列に持ち上げられるかどうかを検証した。これが実現されれば、「研究実績の概要」欄で述べた問題が（肯定的に）解決される。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

引き続き、同値関係の中心列をその中心拡大の中心列に持ち上げられるかどうかを検証する。
