Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We aim to study structure of unstable nuclei which appear only in astrophysical condition or in accelerator experiments by performing nuclear shell-model calculations numerically. The results of shell-model calculations implicitly contain uncertainties originated from the model parameters. We introduced Bayes analysis to estimate these uncertainties. In addition, we introduced the method of eigenvector continuation into nuclear shell-model calculations in order to reduce computational resources required for the estimation.

中性子数が通常の安定核より多い中性子過剰不安定核は、寿命が短く天然には存在しないものの、元素合成過程の理解などに重要な役割を果たすため、加速器実験などで盛んに調べられている。これらを理論で研究する有力な理論模型の一つである殻模型計算にいて、模型に内在するパラメータ由来の不定性を評価するための方法論を提唱した。
