Early change in FF of lumbar BM and serum M protein soon after induction of chemotherapy contributed significantly to prediction of CR/VGPR.CSI proved not to be useful for differentiating myeloma infiltration from hematopoietic BM.The CNN provided better differentiation of MDS from AA than conventional multiparametric MRI and visual inspection of human observers.

造血器腫瘍に対しMRIと最新の撮像・解析技術を用いる骨髄の包括的評価はこれまでに報告がなく、独創的な研究成果に立脚した発展的取り組みである。さらに、本研究は、骨髄病変の質的診断とその変化をもたらす背景因子の解明に繋がる重要な取り組みである。さらに、MRIによる全身骨の評価は、近年問題視されている医療被曝を軽減するためのプロトコル立案に大きく貢献するものである。
