Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Recently, Cancer stem cell is recognized as therapy-resistant cells because its population is dominant in quiescent phase. We searched a new cancer stem cell-related gene, and found BEX2. BEX2 is indispensable in maintaining dormant cancer stem cells and could be a promising therapeutic target.
