Outline of Final Research Achievements

Using an organ preservation solution containing nitrogen nanobubbles, we created an organ preservation model in rat lungs.The group using nanobubbles tends to have a large amount of residual ATP in lung tissue, and the cell death marker (Capase-3) also tends to cause less cell death in the nanobubble group. We guessed the nanobubble group is better than control group. We are currently in the process of creating a rat lung transplant model and conducting further evaluation.

移植医療に用いるより良い臓器保存液の開発は、保存時間が延びることでさらなる遠方に臓器が運ぶことができ多くの人に移植医療が受けられるだけでなく、より良い臓器保存液は臓器へのダメージが少なくなることで、日本のみならず、世界における移植医療の治療成績の改善に大きく寄与すると考えます。
