現在の骨増生法は一定の結果を得ているが、形成骨の吸収が問題になっている。現在臨床応用されている骨増生法では十分なインプラントの適応症拡大に寄与仕切れていない。生理的骨形成を模倣した新規骨増生法を確立し、骨代謝による吸収を受けにくい新生骨形成法を確立し、デンタルインプラントの適応症を拡大することは、口腔の機能性、審美性を向上させ、QOLの向上に寄与する。国民生活を長期に、高齢者となっても維持することができる。
