| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Japanese Minstar of Education, Culture, Sport, Science and Technology reported an active guideline in Japanese preschool children. However, this exercise guideline reported a few evidences. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between motor ability, daily physical activity, lifestyle habit, and living activities in Japanese preschool children. These findings suggested recommending exercise guidelines in Japanese preschool children.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
国際的な子どもの身体活動量のガイドラインでは，「1日に少なくとも60分以上の中高強度以上の身体活動」を推奨しており，多くの国々で採用されている．しかし，わが国において幼児の身体活動量については，具体的な推奨値が設定されていない．日本人の子どもの身体活動量は，諸外国とは異なる生活環境であることから，日本人の幼児の身体活動量と健康関連指標との関係を検討するためには，日本独自の調査と対策が必要であり（田中ら, 2015），日本人幼児の身体活動量の推奨値の作成は急務であると考える．
