2023年度は入明記の研究を継続し、唐物流通と中世社会、遣明船経営と資金調達に関する史料と先行研究を整理し、これまでの研究成果について二つの研究報告を行った。6月には、デュースブルク-エッセン大学（Universitaet Duisburg-Essen）で開催された「History and Theory of Compromises」という国際会議で日明貿易における商行為と折衝を取り上げ、「Negotiations and Compromises in 15th- and 16th-Century Sino-Japanese Tributary and Trade Relations」というタイトルで報告を行った。この報告をもとに現在論文を執筆しており、デュースブルク-エッセン大学のプロジェクト「Cultures of Compromise」の編著のなかに発表する予定である。8月は、ヨーロッパ日本研究協会の国際会議で、唐物消費・輸入と室町時代の国内経済というテーマについて、「Chinese commodities and domestic economy in Muromachi Japan」というタイトルの報告を行った（ベルギー、オンライン開催）。この報告をもとに「Foreign trade and domestic networks - A few remarks on the organisation of tributary embassies to China in the Muromachi period」というタイトルで論文を執筆し、「Journal of East Asian Cultures」のVolume 16:2（2024年秋）での掲載が決まった。他には雑誌・紀要論文をそれぞれ一本ずつ執筆中であり、著書とともに2024年度内に完成する予定である。
