Outline of Final Research Achievements

A web survey has been central in this study. The survey is called "Survey on Cultural Activities and Social Values", designed by myself and implemented by a marketing research company. I analyzed the data from the survey and developed a theoretical concept of space based on Pierre Bourdieu's works.

本研究では、従来のSSM調査や社会生活基本調査よりも細かく文化活動と文化的嗜好に関する質問項目を設定した調査を行い、なおかつ『文化・階級・卓越化』などの海外の先行研究との比較も可能にした。加えて、日本の調査データに合わせた理論枠組みを構築することもできた。
