Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we investigated the mental health problems of parents who have lost a child during the perinatal period and examined what kind of problems they experience in the long term. We conducted an online survey of 186 subjects and were able to develop a Japanese version of the Perinatal Grief Scale (PGS), a psychological scale to measure grief caused by perinatal loss. It was also found that the psychological problems caused by perinatal loss tended to differ between men and women.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
