Outline of Final Research Achievements

The purpose of this study was to conduct a systematic review to gain insights into addressing mental health issues among university students and to further examine the effectiveness of the psychological intervention program created by the review.
This study revealed some psychological characteristics that may influence the mental health problems of university students.
In addition, providing a program to modify those psychological characteristics was found to improve or promote the mental health of university students. This study has organized ways to support university students with mental health problems and has shown specific and effective procedures.

大学生の精神的健康に関する問題は国際的な課題である中,これまでに系統的な検証がなされてこなかった領域でもある。本研究は,我が国における大学生の精神的健康に関する心理学的な支援方法について,包括的な知見を得ることができた。一方,本研究課題ではあくまで一般化された手続きであったことから,本研究課題の成果を元に,今後はより効率的に,個人化された手続きの提供を行うための知見を収集することで,各大学における保健管理の現場でより取り入れやすい手段を提供することが可能になると考えられる。
