Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this work, I clarified the formation of active nano spaces using copper cubane type cluster and Td symmetrical ligands. I succeeded in creating highly emissive coordination networks by heating kinetically assembled porous coordination networks. Furthermore, I revealed the possibility as adsorbents for radioactive iodine using a flexible ligand.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

本研究により相互作用性をもつ細孔性ネットワーク錯体の合成法として速度論的生成が有効であることを明らかにした。これは従来の方法では得られない活性ナノ空間が得られることを示しており、今後、触媒などに利用できる空間の設計に有効である。とくに、小分子の活性化による触媒機能の発現に効果があると考えられる。また、このような活性ナノ空間はヨウ素など、特定の分子を吸着できるため、吸着材やセンサとして広く活用できるようになる。そのための基礎的な知見を提供することができた。
