Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Optimal regulation sizes in fishery target fishes were estimated considering increase of values (unit price per kg) with fish growth. Price of many fish species in Okinawa region showed increasing trend in their immature stage. Size regulation increases not only fish body weight by growth but also increase other values, and they will function synergistic effect. Using these information, optimal regulation sizes for 15 fish species were estimated.
