Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We evaluated the effect of statin for the suppression of cerebral venous infarction by rat cerebral venous disturbance model. 8-weeks-male rats were used for this experiment (Control group(CE-2 diet only) vs Statin group(CE-2+Pravastatin(1%) fed for 2 weeks). Rats were scarificed after 48 hours of cerebral venous disturbance model operation, and evaluated the cerebral venous infarction volume by HE statining. We confirmed the smaller volume of cerebral venous infarction in the statin group(Control group (n=15) vs Statin group (n=17):9.8±3.6% vs 6.3±4.1% (p=0.022)).

脳皮質静脈閉塞モデルを用いたラットの実験を行った。スタチン前投与したラットにおいて、コントロール群に比較して脳静脈梗塞病変がHE染色評価により梗塞病変の縮小が示された。スタチン前投与により脳静脈梗塞が縮小する可能性が示された。
