Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Transplanting lymph node is expected as a new cure for lymphedema. But it is completely unknown how transplant lymph node performs drainage of lymph fluid. Therefore I paid my attention and studied aquaporin-1 in this experiment. The fluid volume of lower limbs decreased by the lymph node transplant to the lymphedema model rat. But there was not the difference to compare the control group with the lymph node transplant group to the expression of aquaporin-1. I could not confirm the participation of aquaporin-1 about lymph fluid drainage in the lymph node transplant.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
