| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this project, we have designed a novel interaction technique, query priming, which promotes careful information seeking during web search. The query priming system provides the keywords to evoke the attitudes related to critical thinking when users issue queries into web search engines. Furthermore, we have developed a browser extension to highlight ambiguous sentences in documents while users are browsing web documents. Besides, we have developed the web access literacy scale, which evaluates the competency and the attitudes for critical information seeking.

フェイクニュースに代表されるように，ウェブ情報の信憑性は社会問題になりつつあり，その対策は急務である．本研究プロジェクトは，情報検索ユーザの批判的情報検索行動を促すことで，ウェブ情報の信憑性の精査行動を活性化し，誤ったウェブ情報の取得・活用を防ぐことを目的としているという点で，社会的意義は極めて大きいと考える．
