Outline of Final Research Achievements

Construction of a solid-state stand-alone electrochemical analysis system using a bicontinuous microemulsion hydrogel (thickness, about 50 microns.) was achieved.
We demonstrated that this system is suitable for electrochemical analysis, in particular for antioxidant capacity assessment.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

1枚のシート単独で、電気化学分析が可能な技術を開発した。電解溶液やセルを必要としないスタンドアローンな分析技術であり、3種類の電極と電解質となるハイドロゲルと脂溶性抗酸化剤を溶かす油相がミクロに混在している両連続相マイクロエマルションゲルから構成されている。
