| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to develop telenursing system for older adults with aspiration pneumonia who discharged from hospital.
The developed telenursing system consisted of Android application for medical interview and WEB medical record, the discharged older adults assessed their vital signs and symptoms at home, and reported to telenurses using a tablet device once per day. Their data were monitored by telenurses, if data triggered an alarm, telenurses instructed them via phone calls or e-mails.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
誤嚥性肺炎は高齢化の進展により近年その罹患者が増加している。特に嚥下機能が低下した高齢者における退院後30日以内の再発・再入院が問題となっており、肺炎が治癒し自宅に退院した後の看護支援は重要である。本研究により開発したテレナーシングシステムは、退院後の高齢者の健康状態を継続的に収集し評価・指導することができ、従来の外来や訪問サービスにおける看護支援に加え、退院した高齢者を支える新たな看護支援として有用であると考える。
