Research Abstract

1.La_<2-x>Sr_xCuO_4のオーバードープ領域における強磁場中電気抵抗率と1/4異常
La系超伝導体La_<2-x>Sr_xCuO_4のx〜0.21におけるいわゆる1/4異常(T_cの低下、磁気相関の発達など)の原因を明らかにするために、27Tまでの定常強磁場下においてab面内電気抵抗率ρ_abを測定した。その結果、x〜0.21において、抵抗率の超伝導転移カーブが磁場の増加とともにパラレルシフト的に変化することを見出した。これは、電荷とスピンのストライプ秩序が形成されるx〜1/8の結果と同様であることから、x〜0.21においてストライプ相関が発達し、磁場によって安定化するためにパラレルシフトが観測されたと解釈できる。すなわち、1/4異常の原因はストライプ相関の発達であると結論した。
2.La_<2-x>Ba_xCuO_4のx〜1/8におけるパルス強磁場下電気抵抗率とストライプ秩序の磁場効果
La系超伝導体La_<2-x>Ba_xCuO_4におけるストライプ相関に対する強磁場の効果を明らかにするために、56Tまでのパルス強磁場下でρ_abを測定した。その結果、ゼロ磁場でストライプ相関が十分発達しているx=0.11では、56Tまでの強磁場下ではρ_abはほとんど磁場に依存しないことを見出した。一方、ゼロ磁場でストライプ相関が不安定なx=0.08では、56Tまでの強磁場下でρ_abが半導体的な温度依存性に変化することを見出した。このことから、「磁場の印加によるρ_abの増大の大きさは、ゼロ磁場での電荷ストライプ秩序の安定性と密接な関連がある」という以前の結論が56Tまでの強磁場下でも成り立つと結論した。
