Research Abstract

1.イオン液体中において単一分子の電気伝導度を計測するための計測装置を開発し、金原子からなる量子ポイントコンタクトの電気伝導度をイオン液体中で計測することに成功した。この成果により、ナノスケールの電気伝導の実験をイオン液体中で行えることが示された。
2.1で開発した装置を用い、有機溶媒中でオリゴチオフェン分子ワイヤーの単一分子電気伝導度を計測することに成功した。オリゴチオフェン分子内の電気伝導度はチオフェン環23個まではトンネル伝導を示し、それ以上のときにはホッピング伝導を示すと考えれる結果が得られた。ホッピング伝導領域では、電気化学ドーピングによる電気伝導度の変調が可能と考えられ、1の結果とあわせてイオン液体中での単一分子計測を実現する素地が整った。
3.原子間力顕微鏡の針の先端に塗布した導電性高分子を絶縁体基板上に書き込むことに成功した。イオン液体のリソグラフィーへの展開が可能となる。
4.シリコンを用いたナノギャップ電極の作製に成功した。
