Research Abstract

巨大ひずみ加工により創製された格子欠陥を高密度に含む超微細粒金属材料の塑性変形, 疲労, 破壊などの力学特性を実験的, 理論的に研究し, そのメカニクスを解明した.結晶粒の微細化に 伴う強度の上昇と高いひずみ速度依存性の発現は, 結晶粒界からの転位の発生とその熱活性化運動過程によって合理的に説明できた. さらに, 疲労軟化挙動や脆性-延性遷移温度の低下についても, 結晶粒微細化効果を通じて合理的に説明することができた.
