Research Abstract |
脳内の抑制性GABA シナプス周辺における神経伝達の制御機構について研究を進めた。とくに小脳GABA シナプス周辺には、3 種類に大別できる新規のシナプス制御機構が存在することを発見し、その細胞・分子機構の一部を明らかにした。このようなシナプス機構は、精神神経疾患を克服するための新たな作用原理に基づく薬物治療の標的となることが示唆された。
