| Research Abstract |
地方分権、社会保障制度、地方経済、財政政策を通じた公共財供給における受益と負担の関係に基づいて、多様な公共財供給が政府規模の決定に及ぼす効果を理論的に分析するとともに、わが国を対象として実証的にも検証した。また、政府規模が過大か過小かに関して、定量的な裏付けのある規範分析を行った。地域間の競争が地方政府による公共財供給に与える影響について、政治経済学の手法を適用して検討した。
