Research Abstract

銀河中心領域からのFeI, FeXXV, Fe XXVI のKα線を分離し、その空間分布を正確にもとめた。その結果、銀河中心は7000 万度のプラザがほぼ1×2度の範囲を満たしていること、またFeI のKα線は銀河中心にある巨大ブラックホールが約300年前に強いX線を放射し、それが蛍光、反射した結果(X線反射星雲)であることを確認した。このようなX線反射星雲の候補をいくつも発見した。SCI 時のCTE 補正法、および、その補正パラメータの決定法を開発した。こうして全ての「すざく」XIS の観測はSCI を使うに至った。
