Research Abstract |
基線長100mの神岡低温レーザー干渉計CLIO にデータ収録・解析装置を組み込み、重力波観測を行った。都市部に比べ地面振動が2桁以上小さい地下環境でデータを取得し、ガウス性の高い良質なデータが得られていることを確認した。これはバースト重力波探査に適している。また、低周波では他の観測装置に比べて感度が優れているので、Vela パルサーで発生していると予想される22Hz の重力波に対して上限値を算出し、査読付論文を出した。
