Research Abstract

光応答性分子を利用した光制御できる磁性体の創製を行った。初めに、磁性体への光応答性分子の相互作用に注目し、実験的、理論的アプローチの両方からその基礎物理化学について明らかにした。一方、その知見をふまえて材料創製にフィードバックすることにより、室温強磁性にて巨大保磁力をもち、かつ異方性を示す高性能光スイッチング磁性材料の創製に成功した。
