Research Abstract

超高密度磁気ディスク装置用のヘッド機構実現を目指して、5nm程度の超微小すきまで相対すべり運動する記録ヘッドの動的挙動を、ミクロ/ナノメータ領域における分子気体および分子液体による力学作用を考慮して詳細に解析しうるシミュレーション技術および物性評価の高精度技術を開発し、これによりヘッド形状設計のための指針を得た。
