Research Abstract

大振幅波浪中の浮体によって砕波や飛沫が発生するような強非線形流体現象に対しても精度の高い計算が可能となるよう, 最新の数値流体力学的手法をいくつか開発した。また波浪衝撃による浮体甲板上での圧力, 浮体の動揺, 波浪中抵抗増加を水槽実験によって計測し, その結果との比較によって開発した数値計算法の妥当性を検証した。さらに2007年11月には強非線形流れに関する国際会議を主催し, 世界トップレベルの研究情報の発信・交換を行った。流体・構造連成解析として, 新しい非線形ストリップ法の開発, 孤立波の衝突による垂直弾性板の振動に関する計算法の開発なども行った。
