Research Abstract

放電型核融合陽子源の研究開発に必須の陽子発生分布計測法を確立し, D-^3HeおよびD-D反応の空間分布の詳細を明らかにした. また, 未踏であった超低圧力下でイオンを環状入射し中心へ集束させる新方式を提案, 装置開発を行った. その結果, 従来の核合反応率が電流の1乗に比例するのに比べ本方式では1.7乗に比例する等, PET用RI製造応用に向けた高出力化に有望なビーム対ビーム衝突反応を示唆する初めての実験結果を得た.
