Research Abstract

電位依存性ホスファターゼVSPおよび電位依存性プロトンチャネルVSOP1は、細胞膜電位を感知する電位センサードメインを有する新たな膜蛋白である。これらの蛋白による細胞膜電位シグナルの分子機構を解明するため、生理学的実験、イメージング、生化学実験などを組み合わせて実験を行った結果、(1)VSPの電位センサーがイノシトールリン脂質であるPIP2を分解する酵素活性と、分子内において強く共役すること(2)プロトンチャネルVSOP1は二分子一体となって細胞膜で機能するが、基本的なチャネル活性は単分子に内包されていること(3)VSOP1は、好中球の貪食機能を維持する働きがあることを、明らかにした。
