| Research Abstract |
パターン認識などの知的情報処理の精度にブレークスルーをもたらす非線形な信号空間の構造の利用に関して, Riemann 多様体を使って信号空間の構造を表現するMahalanobis 計量, カーネル法を拡張した非対称カーネル法, 構造が時間と共に変化していく場合における学習法, 多様体上で最適化問題を解くためのアルゴリズム, 分散構造を用いたブラインド信号抽出法に関して研究を行い, 新たな知見を得た。さらにその成果をパターン認識, 脳信号処理などの様々な問題に適用し, その有効性を確認した。
