Research Abstract

神経回路可塑性の機能解析、とくにシナプス伝達強化のメカニズムを蛋白分子レベルから解明することを目指し、培養下で交感神経細胞間に形成させたモデルシナプスに、遺伝子や変異遺伝子を導入して外因性蛋白質を強制発現させたり、siRNAを導入して(RNAi法)内因性蛋白発現を抑制し、シナプス小胞の動態を制御して神経伝達物質の放出を短期間、または持続的に増強するシナプス前終末蛋白質群の働きを明らかした。
