Research Abstract

ゲノムインプリンティングによって発現調節されているNecdin は、ホメオドメイン蛋白質Dlx2、細胞周期関連転写因子E2F1、ヒストン脱アセチル化酵素Sirt1、アポトーシス関連転写因子p53 などと複合体を形成し、種々の脳ニューロンの分化や生存を促進した。Necdin 遺伝子変異マウスでは、Necdin が哺乳類の脳神経系の発達と機能維持に必要であり、Necdin が欠損すると脳神経系の発達障害を起こすことが明らかになった。
